my bags are unpacked and i’m settling in….

As you may have read in my last blog, I moved…can’t remember if i explained the details so let me catch ya up. I have been living in a 3.5bedroom/1 bath house that was built in like 1800’s, (ok so not really in the 1800’s but at times it seemed like it) for the last 2 years with my best friend, Cara. This house was so old and although it looked fine from the inside it had it’s hidden issues. Like paper thin walls with no insulation, poor heating, old pipes, bugs (spiders and ants) and even a mouse or two. Anyways I didn’t mind living there but I’m glad to have finally moved, especially to a brand new place. The only time I have ever lived in a “Brand New” place was when I was five years old…so I remember it a little but not all the details. Also this is the first place that is all my own. I’ve always lived with other people and I am now in my OWN place. WOW!

Everything is unpacked and pretty much in it’s place an it is almost all decorated, like I said before, Cara is decorating my place and she is doing a great job, better than I could ever imagine. I’m excited to see it finished, which should be in the next week. Once it’s done I plan on having an open house to show off my new space.

Ok that’s it for now…I’m headed off to dinner with my family for father’s day. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there.
